Herrmann's classic black and white photo of the four Beatles with George Martin, their producer was& given a digital makeover by designer David Palmer for the re-worked and updated re-release of Sir George Martin's autobiography Summer of Love by Genesis Publications (sic page 73) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the seminal album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in 2007. Also available in 'yellow'. All prints are embossed with the photographers stamp, numbered and signed by the photographer Frank Herrmann in pencil on lower right margin.

March 30th 1967 turned out to be a historic day in the Beatles calendar as following the recording session photographed here by Herrmann, they made their way to Michael Cooper's Flood Street studio to be photographed for one of the most famous album covers of all time, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

All prints are embossed with the photographers stamp, numbered and signed by the photographer Frank Herrmann in pencil on lower right margin.
